Through the Lincoln Financial Advisors RIA, Lincoln Financial Advisors representatives provide objective financial planning services, financial consultation and asset management services for a fee rather than commissions.

Lincoln Financial Advisors offers brokerage account services through its clearing firm3 –National Financial Services, LLC (NFS), a Fidelity Investments Company. As of June 30, 2021, they have $3.2 Trillion in assets under administration and over 13,000 institutional clients serviced. They are responsible for the execution, clearance and settlement of securities transactions, the preparation and delivery of transaction confirmations, periodic statements of your account, the custody (or safekeeping), receipt, and delivery of funds and securities.

A broker‐dealer is a person or firm in the business of buying and selling securities. The broker function entails charging a fee or commission for executing buy and sell orders submitted by another individual or firm. The dealer role entails charging a markup or markdown for securities transactions from the person or firms’ own inventory.
